Dogs and their owners are invited to the Coulee Region Humane Society’s second annual Yappy Hour at Stoney Creek Inn’s Lumber Jack Saloon and outdoor patio from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.

All proceeds will benefit the spay-neuter program the CRHS will implement in 2009. Here are some guidelines/requirements for this canine cocktail hour:

Limited to the first 20 dogs who register, with no limit on the number of humans who register.

Minimum registration donation of $10.

The first 30 people to register get one two-for-one drink coupon.

Discounts will be offered on pizza and breadsticks.

All dogs attending will need to be spayed/neutered, licensed and current on the following vaccinations: bordetella, distemper, and rabies. (Proof of all will be required prior to admission.)

All dogs must be social in nature. No aggressive dogs will be allowed. Staff and volunteers will ask those whose behavior is not acceptable to leave.

Pre-registration for this event is encouraged as it is limited to 20 dogs.
