The following log is based on reports from the Holmen and Onalaska police and fire departments.

Onalaska Police Department

Monday, Aug. 11

6:41 a.m. — The manager of the Microtel reported a case containing a PlayStation console and games belonging to a client from Neenah was missing.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

10:13 a.m. — A 19-year-old man reported someone had broken into his vehicle parked on the 700 block of Vaaler Court and had taken a stereo/cd player as well as an amplifier.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

3:51 p.m. — A 69-year-old man reported an evicted tenant had taken all the furniture provided by the landlord in a furnished apartment on Lauderdale Place. The furnishings were valued at $7,655.

4:47 p.m. — A 40-year-old woman reported the license plate from her motorcycle was stolen while in the parking lot between Best Buy and Target.

5:02 p.m. — Police responded to a gas drive-off complaint at the Kwik Trip on Oak Forest Drive. A woman from Shakopee, Minn., had pumped $40.01 worth of gas and left without paying for it and she told the cashier she did not have any gas to pay for when asked.

Thursday, Aug. 14

4:02 p.m. — A 29-year-old man on the 1300 block of East Avenue North reported he had been defrauded of $500 which he received for the sale of two turntables and a mixer. The buyer gave him a traveler’s check that was not valid.

3:35 p.m. — A 64-year-old man reported someone had stolen his bicycle from his garage on the 900 block of Westview Circle Drive.

Holmen Police Department

Monday, Aug. 11

1:30 p.m. — A 23-year-old man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct after making threatening calls to his ex-girlfriend when there was a no-contact order. He was out on bond for felony battery and first-degree reckless endangering safety against the La Crosse woman.

10:33 p.m. — Police assisted a woman on the 100 block of Legion Street East who had an ear injury related to a domestic violence incident.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

8:35 a.m. — A 6-year-old girl was bitten by a dog when she rode her bike past the dog’s residence. The dog was inside and broke through the front door.

2:30 p.m. — Police responded to Ethel’s Attic on Main Street for a strong natural gas odor.

11:16 p.m. — A 28-year-old man reported someone broke into his truck while it was parked on his driveway on the 500 block of Curt Road. The suspect got away with a few dollars in coins and bills.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

9:41 a.m. — A 47-year-old man reported someone had stolen a flat-screen TV from his unlocked camper in the gated/enclosed area on the 300 block of Holmen Drive North sometime overnight.

Thursday, Aug. 14

5:05 a.m. — Police assisted a man who had fallen in his home on the 100 block of Scott Drive. He had possibly broken his hip.

7:44 a.m. — Police assisted the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department with a three-vehicle accident on southbound Highways 35 and 53. One party was issued a traffic citation and another had a back injury.

11:22 a.m. — Someone damaged a school bus parked just north of the Holmen school district shop building. The glass on the entry door was shattered.

12:44 p.m. — A woman on the 100 block of Buckingham Lane reported receiving a letter and a check that said she had won $125,000 but needed to send $2,950 for tax withholding.

2 p.m. — Police assisted a woman on the 3100 block of Mallary Lane who had passed out. She was taken to Franciscan Skemp Medical Center.

7:37 p.m. — Someone threw a brick at a garage door on the 800 block of Evergreen Drive, damaging it.

Friday, Aug. 15

10:12 p.m. — Staff at the American Legion reported receiving a fake identification card from a patron at the Kornfest beer tent who left before police arrived.

Saturday, Aug. 16

12:28 a.m. — Police received a call that someone at the Kornfest beer tent had been punched.

7:42 p.m. — Police assisted first responders with a diabetic woman on the 200 block of

Lee Street who was having difficulty breathing and was very weak.

Sunday, Aug. 17

4:59 a.m. — Police responded to a report that several kids were trying to get into one of the beer trucks on the Kornfest grounds. No one was found.

Onalaska Fire Department

Tuesday, Aug. 12

9:14 a.m. — First responder call for a welfare check on Second Avenue North.

1:04 p.m. — First responder call on Gertie Lane for a person experiencing dizziness.

2:41 p.m. — First responder call on Highway PH and Braund Street for a person not feeling well.

3 p.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person that had passed out.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

2:29 a.m. — First responder call on Second Avenue South for a person with chest pain.

8:21 a.m. — First responder call on Critter Court for a person that was unresponsive.

2:49 p.m. — First responder call on 10th Avenue North to assist an invalid.

3:20 p.m. — Fire call on Highway 35 and Riders Club Road on a good intent call.

6:05 p.m. — First responder call on Lauderdale Place for a man that was unresponsive.

9:03 p.m. — First responder call on 10th Avenue North for a person with abdominal pain.

Thursday, Aug. 14

10:38 a.m. — First responder call on National Drive for an unknown medical problem.

12:50 p.m. — Fire call on Highway 16 that turned out to be a false alarm.

1:12 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on 12th Avenue South and Main Street for a car accident with injuries.

9:08 p.m. — First responder call on Sixth Avenue North for a person that was choking.

Friday, Aug. 15

4:53 a.m. — First responder call on Mason Street for a person unable to stand up.

8:07 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on Highway 157 and I-90 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Saturday, Aug. 16

7:37 a.m. — First responder call on East Avenue North for a person who was verbally unresponsive.

12:27 p.m. — First responder call on Bond Road for a person who had possibly overdosed.

11:05 p.m. — Fire call on Young Drive West for a natural gas problem.

Sunday, Aug. 17

12:16 a.m. — First responder call on Highway 16 for a person with a knife wound.

11:05 a.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person with a breathing problem.

11:54 a.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person with chest pain.

5:04 p.m. — Fire call on Oak Avenue South for an outside equipment fire

7:17 p.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person injured in a fall.

10:28 p.m. — First responder call on Sixth Avenue North and Vilas Street for a person bleeding from the head.

Monday, Aug. 18

11:13 a.m. — Fire call on Market Place that was a false alarm.

11:36 a.m. — Fire call on Marcou Road for a hazardous condition.

3:01 p.m. — First responder call on Carol Lane for a person having an anxiety attack.

4:11 p.m. — Fire call on Highway 16 where no incident was found on arrival.

8:51 p.m. — First responder call on Main Street for an unknown medical problem.

8:59 p.m. — First responder call on Hazelwood Lane for a person injured in a fall.

12:47 a.m. — First responder call on the 3100 block of Mallary Lane for someone with a head injury.

5:06 a.m. — First responder call on the 100 block of Scott Drive for a person injured in a fall.

7:45 a.m. — First responder call on the N6100 block of Highway 35 South for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.

7:44 p.m. — First responder call on the 400 block of McHugh Street West for a person having difficulty breathing.

Friday, Aug. 15

4:58 p.m. — Fire call on the N6000 block of Prairie Fire Trail for a brush or grass fire.

7:59 p.m. — First responder call on the N5700 block of Highway 35 South for a person having an allergic reaction.

Saturday, Aug. 16

2:40 p.m. — First responder call on the W7900 block of Old Highway 93 for a person with an unknown medical problem.

5:23 p.m. — First responder call on the 1100 block of Main Street for a person having an allergic reaction.

6:09 p.m. — First responder call on the N6100 block of Highway 35 South for a vehicle accident with injuries.

7:43 p.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of Lee Street for a person with a breathing problem.
