A local Christian singer-songwriter is planning two concert appearances here to celebrate the release of his fourth CD.

Brian Schroeder, a 2007 graduate of Holmen High School, is set to release “Alpha & Omega,” a collection of his original songs at the official release concert, which starts at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at First Lutheran Church in Onalaska.

Schroeder will perform on piano with percussion and vocal accompaniment at First Lutheran.

The official store release will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Shepherd’s Voice in Onalaska’s Crosseroads Center.

Schroeder also has several local worship service performances planned, including:

Aug. 17: Onalaska United Methodist Church, 8:30 and 11 a.m.

Aug. 23: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Holmen, 5 p.m.

Aug. 24: Holmen Lutheran Church 9 a.m.
