Second week of medallion clues coming

The eighth annual Kornfest medallion hunt is under way. Starting Aug. 4, the Holmen Area Lioness Club is releasing one clue per day Monday through Thursday, with clues available at Holmen merchants.

Clues are displayed at these merchants wherever the merchant feels is appropriate. Merchants will not give out clues by phone.

The finder of the medallion will receive a $100 check from the Holmen Area Lioness Club and a pair of passes to the Kornfest car show.

The merchants that will have clues on the premises for the second week included the following:

  • Aug. 11: Blooming Baskets, 424 S. Main St.

  • Aug. 12: Pizza Corral, 1505 S. Holmen Drive

  • Aug. 13: Jacqlons, 512 S. Main St.

  • Aug. 14: Cordell’s Towing and Repair, 300 S. Holmen Drive

    The merchants that had clues on the premises for the first week included the following:

  • Aug. 4: Holmen Locker and Meat Market, 412 N. Main St.

  • Aug. 5: Blue Cup Coffee House, Holmen Square Mall

  • Aug. 6: Holmen Hardware Hank, 205 S. Holmen Drive

  • Aug. 7: Holmen Area Library, 103 State St.
