Saturday, July 5
10:51 p.m. — A 14-year-old boy reported his shoes had been stolen while he was fishing on the spillway. He had the shoes attached to his helmet and backpack on his bicycle. When he returned from fishing, the shoes were gone, but the helmet, backpack and bike were still there.
Monday, July 7
1:30 p.m. — Police received numerous reports of a man exposing himself to traffic, urinating and masturbating on the 1000 block of Commercial Court.
Tuesday, July 8
10:10 a.m. — A 28-year-old man reported someone had entered his garage on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue North sometime in the prior week and stolen his bicycle.
Wednesday, July 9
7:06 a.m. — A 28-year-old man reported someone had entered his vehicle while it was parked on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue North and stolen stereo speakers and an amplifier. A driver’s license was found on the ground that belonged to the man described in the 8 a.m. incident below.
7:15 a.m. — A 27-year-old woman reported someone entered her vehicle while it was parked on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue North and stole a radio, camera and assorted silver worth about $300.
8 a.m. — A 28-year-old man had his wallet stolen from his car while it was parked overnight in his garage on the 800 block of Vilas Street. The car had been left unlocked inside the garage.
12 p.m. — A 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, both from La Crosse, were arrested for five counts of receiving stolen property, five counts of theft, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in conjunction with a theft at the Onalaska Wal-Mart on July 4. They then attempted to obtain cash at the pawn shop.
Another La Crosse woman is suspected of being involved in receiving stolen property but was already detained by La Crosse police on unrelated charges.
6:30 p.m. — A 32-year-old man reported someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked overnight on the 600 block of Troy Street. Stolen from the unlocked vehicle were a radar detector valued at $150 and the silver faceplate off his stereo valued at $250.
Thursday, July 10
5:20 p.m. — A 42-year-old woman reported someone had broken into her vehicle while she was at the Gundersen Clinic. Nothing appeared to be taken but the passenger side window was broken.
10 p.m. — A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-woman were arrested for domestic disorderly conduct for a loud and disruptive argument on the 900 block of Well Street where their 4-month-old child lived with them.
Friday, July 11
7:41 a.m. — Police responded to a call on the 300 block of Mason Street about a man found dead in his bathroom by his wife. The man had recently begun treatment for a heart condition. No foul play is suspected.
7:59 a.m. — An 16-year-old girl was arrested for drug possession after her mother found two packages wrapped in tin foil under her daughter’s bed. One package contained a white powder, the other appeared to be a crushed pill. Police could not get a specific identification of the white powder through field tests, but identified the pill as an amphetamine derivative.
Saturday, July 12
1:53 a.m. — An 18-year-old man was arrested in conjunction with an attempted auto break-in on the 2100 block of Sandalwood Drive. The victim was awakened by a phone call and when he got up for a drink of water, he noticed someone trying to break into his car. He ran outside and was struck in the face and head by another person he did not see. The assailant was later found at a party and charged with criminal damage to property, carrying a concealed weapon and battery.
2:28 a.m. — A 21-year-old woman was arrested for physically attacking her mother because she had poured out a bottle of alcohol. The arrested woman, who was intoxicated, struck her mother in the back of the head and pulled her hair. The fight continued to the floor where the daughter pulled hair, scratched, kicked and bit her mother on the thigh. Upon arrest, she tried to bite and kick officers and tried to kick out the side windows of the squad car. She was taken to Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in restraints. She is charged with domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct and resisting.
10:06 a.m. — Police responded to a theft at the Sheperd’s Voice sales tent area overnight. Someone broke into the sales tent, threw items around and stole jewelry items valued at approximately $2,500.

7:49 p.m. — A 19-year-old man reported someone stole the license plate off his moped that was parked on the 1200 block of Greenridge Drive sometime overnight.

Monday, July 7
10:10 a.m. — A 14-year-old boy was cited for underage possession of cigarettes after he tried to hide them in another student’s bag at the middle school.
1:02 p.m. — A 13-year-old boy was cited for underage possession of cigarettes found in his locker by middle school personnel.
Tuesday, July 8
12:56 p.m. — Three boys at the high school were warned to stop bullying and harassing another student whom they were physically punching and harassing through phone calls, e-mails and on MySpace.
1:56 p.m. — A construction worker reported theft from a job site on the 600 block of Deerwood Street. Missing were two boxes containing 24 new soffit pans valued at $336.
4:07 p.m. — A street sign for the intersection of Viking Avenue and Greeno Road was broken and on the ground. Another street sign at Viking and Flora was bent.
5:27 p.m. — Police responded to the 200 block of McHugh Street for a report of a 3-month old and a 4-year-old locked in a truck with the windows shut.

8:05 a.m. — Police assisted first responders with a call in the Village View Addition for a man reported to have blood pooling in his neck and unable to move. He had had recent aneurism surgery.
2:03 p.m. — Police assisted first responders at the Holmen pool regarding a child at the pool.
Thursday, July 10
6:30 a.m. — Police assisted first responders on the 700 block of McHugh Road for a 79-year-old woman complaining of dizziness.
12:10 p.m. — A 16-year-old boy was referred to juvenile detention for battery and disorderly conduct after an argument with his girlfriend on the 700 block of Granum Street.
3:47 p.m. — A 14-year-old girl was arrested on undisclosed charges and taken to the juvenile detention center.
No time given — A 68-year-old woman reported someone had hit her car while it was parked in the parking lot between Express Fitness and Festival Foods sometime that afternoon. The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the rear driver’s side fender.

1:49 a.m. — Police assisted the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department with a vehicle accident on the W7800 block of Windmill Street. A vehicle had struck a power pole and moved the energy box approximately one foot.
7:01 a.m. — Police assisted the fire department with a car fire at the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway OT.
9:26 a.m. — Police received a report that a storage shed at Interior Designs was tampered with over the weekend but entry was not gained.

1:32 a.m. — A 22-year-old man was arrested for obstructing and disorderly conduct for urinating on a fence outside Smokey’s Bar and then running from police.
Sunday, July 13
10:58 a.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 1000 block of Packer Drive for a man that would not leave his ex-wife’s residence saying he was picking up their son and needed time to pack the boy’s belongings.
3:11 p.m. — A truck driver was cited for negligent use of burning material because he was driving his dump truck while there was a fire in the dumpster. As he was driving along Holmen Drive, the driver was unaware two grass fires were started by embers flying off his truck, one on South Holmen Drive and a larger fire on Highway OT.
